Un groupe de 101 applications malveillantes a été identifié sur Android. Ces dernières peuvent dérober vos données personnelles et afficher de nombreuses publicités sur les smartphones des victimes.
En effet, toutes ces logiciels pirates auraient été développés par le même réseau de 27 développeurs vietnamiens, d’après l’enquête menée par CyberNews. Il résulte de cette enquête que les applications malveillantes ont été installés sur environ 69 millions d’appareils tournant sous Android. Pas seulement des smartphones mais aussi des tablettes.
Toujours d’après cette même enquête, les malwares demandent des autorisations poussées sur les smartphones des victimes. Par la suite, les logiciels peuvent donc saisir les données personnelles des utilisateurs comme leurs photos, leurs vidéos, ou même leur localisation. A noter que les demandes de permission de ces logiciels pirates ne sont pas logiques. Par exemple, une application de retouche photo peut demander une permission d’enregistrement audio, ce qui n’a aucun sens.
Les données personnelles subtilisées permettent aux hackers de submerger de publicités les smartphones visés. Il est donc conseillé de bien vérifier les permissions des applications que vous installez sur vos smartphones.
